Quality requirements for steel

1 Prestressing steel bars should be made of steel bars for prestressed concrete and steel wires for prestressed concrete, the quality of which should comply with the provisions of “Steel Bars for Prestressed Concrete” YB/T111 and “Steel Wires for Prestressed Concrete” GB/T5223.

2 spiral reinforcement shall be cold-drawn low carbon steel wire, low carbon steel hot-rolled round bars, the quality of which shall conform to the provisions of the Regulations for the Design and Construction of Pre-stressed Concrete Members of Cold-Drawn Steel Wire JGJL9 and Low Carbon Steel Hot-Rolled Round Bars GB/T701, respectively.

3 end anchoring bars and erection rings should be made of mild steel hot-rolled round bars and reinforced concrete hot-rolled ribbed bars, the quality of which should comply with the provisions of GB/T701 for mild steel hot-rolled round bars and GBL499 for reinforced concrete respectively

4 end plates, pile sleeve hoops should be used Q235 steel, the quality of which should be in line with the “carbon structural steel” GB / T700 provisions.
